Continuing my Batman fix, I watched Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. Which is basically Bruce Timm and Paul Dini saying to the fans "Here's what we can
do when we don't have censors on our ass". Violent, dark, a lot more adult than the already pretty adult tv show version...I don't know why it
doesn't get talked about that much.

I watched the remake of Sleuth. For the first hour it was true to the original story, if a bit darker than the predecessor. The detective scene was
particularly well done, cause Jude Law got to show some real acting and it was just fun to watch. After that the movie goes....somewhere else in the last act.

Watched The Man Who Knew Too much. Not the one with Jimmy Stewart, but Hitchcock's lesser-known first attempt at it in 1938. Let's just say it's
obvious why he remade it 20 years later. It was clearly very low budget even for the era, and was very rough and hard to watch. Save for one memorable scene
(the evil dentist), I could have passed on it.
